From August 1, Nandini milk and dairy products will cost Rs. 3 extra. BENGALURU: Beginning on August 1, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has revised the rates for Nandini milk, curds, and buttermilk. According to a KMF official announcement, prices for various types of milk and milk products will increase starting on Tuesday from Rs 1 to Rs 3. The request from the milk unions was granted by the chief minister, Siddaramaiah, a week ago, and the state cabinet also approved the plan a few days ago. The milk unions had asked for a boost of Rs 5 per litre of milk and milk products after suffering major losses as a result of sharp increases in input expenses, such as cattle feed and energy rates, as well as an outbreak of lumpy skin disease.  The CM had only agreed to the raise of Rs. 3, irritated by the unions' demand, and urged that the entire hiked sum be given to the farmers. As a result, starting on Tuesday, the KMF has revised the rates of Nandini milk as well as other g...

BESCOM announces 25- day billing cycle for June month in Bengaluru

Image
BESCOM announces 25- day billing cycle for June month in Bengaluru The current bill is arguably the issue that has confused people the most in recent months. Customers of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) have been complaining about their bills for a number of reasons, including increased prices, arrears, and delayed billing.  The billing cycle for June (for which the bills are arriving in July) will only be for 25 days instead of the customary one month, which is a little consolation before the Gruja Jyothi programme takes effect. All units between 0 and 100 would have been subject to this year's tariff revision's 14.75 per unit fee, but if consumption exceeded 100 units, the fee would have been reduced to 7. due to an almost 10-day billing delay #bescom #gruhajyothi #bengaluru #current #electriccity #bangalore #news #bangalorecity #latestnews #bangalore_insta

Traffic cops back to Bengaluru roads. What is Contactless fines? In a renewed crackdown on traffic violators, Bengaluru police have restarted stopping vehicles for visible violations on roads, raising questions about the limitations of automated enforcement and igniting concerns about arbitrary physical checks. On July 1, the traffic police launched a special drive to catch vehicle users, especially two-wheeler users and delivery boys, who commit visible violations that impede traffic and put road users' safety at risk. Traffic police officers insisted that the drive would cover only a handful of violations: wrong-side driving, footpath riding/parking and jumping the signal. #bengaluru # bengalurutraffic #traffic #bangalore # deliveryfood # twowheeler # roadsafety #parking #news # bangalorecity # latestnews #safety #police
