Hoteliers meet DK Shivkumar requesting to allow them to open 24/7






On Saturday, hoteliers from all around the city requested Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to let them operate over the clock.


Although hoteliers have been asking for a change in operating hours, the government has not yet provided any assurances.


The DyCM was asked by the hoteliers to grant the hotel industry an "industry" status and guarantee ease of doing business.


The hoteliers recommended that the trade licence, FSSAI licence, and Shop and Establishment licences be combined into a single, perpetual licence in a representation of the DyCM.
