Boy who died in a fall at Jadavpur University was forced to chop his hair and provide personal information

According to reports, the 18-year-old Jadavpur University student who purportedly died after falling from his hostel was ragged. He was allegedly coerced into having his hair cut off in a particular way by three new suspects, one additional pupil, and another.

According to India Today, which cited police sources, they forced him to go through a humiliating introduction process during which he was required to submit his physical information.
