Unauthorised schools will be gradually closed, according to a minister in Karnataka.

Approximately 1,695 unlawful schools in Bengaluru would be shut down gradually, according to Madhu Bangarappa, minister of primary and secondary education. The choice was made during a meeting with the Karnataka Private Managements Association to discuss the surge in schools that are operating illegally. 

The state's unlicensed private schools must close by August 14 according to a letter from the Department of School Education and Literacy.

According to Madhu Bangarappa, the minister of primary and secondary education, there are around 1,695 unlawful schools in Bengaluru, and the state government plans to gradually close them.
