Following the online leak of movie footage from Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan," Red Chillies Entertainment filed a FIR. On August 10, the Santacruz police station received the FIR.

Five Twitter accounts were cited by Red Chillies Entertainment as being used to share the movie snippets. The handles on Twitter received legal notifications.
