Raghav Chadha, an AAP member, was expelled from the Rajya Sabha

Raghav Chadha, an AAP member, was on Friday barred from the Rajya Sabha pending a report from the privileges committee for "gross violation of rule, misconduct, defiant attitude, and contemptuous conduct."

His suspension came as a result of a motion made by the House Leader Piyush Goyal, who demanded that the AAP leader be punished for proposing a select committee for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which included the names of four members of the Upper House.
