In advance of Independence Day, the Delhi Police has implemented Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in areas close to Rajghat, ITO, and Red Fort, according to officials on Thursday. 

The police stated, "No gathering of any type is permitted in these places. Previously, the Delhi Police had imposed a ban on the use of "sub-conventional aerial platforms" like paragliders till August 16.
