Four Karnataka police officers were caught in Kerala for allegedly receiving bribes.

In an odd turn of events, Kerala police detained four police officers from Karnataka after they were exposed as receiving bribes. The four officers—an inspector and three of his deputies—had come to the neighbouring southern state to look into a cheating case involving ₹3.95 lakh that had been reported in Karnataka.

Their identities have not yet been made public. However, it is said that all four of them are from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, and are associated with the Whitefield police station.

On Wednesday, Kerala police recovered approximately 4 lakh in cash from their Karnataka counterparts, which they suspect to be bribe money.
