DK Shivakumar receives a Rs. 50,000 fine from BBMP for the banner

On Monday, the BBMP fined DK Shivakumar, the head of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Rs 50,000 for allegedly putting up an illegitimate flex banner at the KPCC office on Queen's Road.

Just 13 days after Shivakumar ordered all lawmakers to refrain from erecting any flex banners throughout the city in his role as Bengaluru Development Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, Palike officials imposed the fine. He further stated that the Palike would impose a Rs 50,000 fine for each infraction.
