Cab driver in Bengaluru is detained after molesting a pregnant woman sexually

The police detained a Bengaluru cabbie on Saturday after learning that he had reportedly sexually assaulted a pregnant woman in public. 

The cab driver, who went by the name of Avinash, worked for a private transportation business and resided in Kammasandra on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The incident happened on Saturday, July 29.

The victim, an Infosys nurse, had just finished her shift and was heading home on the bus by strolling to the closest bus stop. According to the authorities, the accused cab driver, Avinash, stopped his car and offered to take her.
