Thiruvalluvar, a Tamil poet, has a 25-foot-tall steel statue in Coimbatore consisting of 1,330 interconnected Tamil characters. 

His best-known work, "Thirukkural," a collection of couplets addressing issues including politics, economy, ethics, and love, is what made him famous. The statue's design was entrusted to engineers from different regions of India.
