11 medical students were expelled from Karnataka after they posted a video "insulting" nurses.

11 MBBS students at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Hubballi were placed on administrative leave for one week after posting an allegedly disparaging Instagram video about nurses. 

The move was taken in response to complaints made by a nurses' association and private nursing colleges to the director of KIMS about the video. In the footage, a student masquerading as a nurse was seen making out with a patient.
